Anthony Joshua will face the American YouTuber in an eight-round fight which will be streamed in real-time on the streaming platform.
British boxer Joshua stated he will "dominate completely" the American and "defeat" the American as the combatants met personally to publicize next month's bout.
Former twice world title holder Joshua battles YouTuber-turned-boxer Paul - in what is, on paper, a mammoth mismatch - at Miami's Kaseya Center on December 19th.
Fighter's Attitude
"I plan to injure his face and break his body up. I'm here to prove I'm the better fighter," the British boxer, 35 years old, stated.
"I'll stamp all over him. That's a fighter's mentality.
"I'm going to genuinely try to hurt him. That's my goal."
Civil Interaction
Despite those words, a calm Joshua and internet personality Jake Paul - normally recognized for his dramatics - exchanged pleasantries and kept it respectful with each other.
Paul rather attacked former Joshua rival Francis Ngannou and described him as "not serious" after Ngannou turned down a match opportunity.
Targeting Tyson Fury
Joshua, meanwhile, targeted British rival Fury - and refused a £1m bet 'The Gypsy King' claims he will make on a Paul victory.
"[Paul] is better than Fury - he's actually sitting here," Joshua said.
"I respect him for that."
Legitimate Opponent
Despite stating he plans to punish Paul, Joshua refused to comment unfavorably about his rival's pugilistic talent.
"Jake is a credible opponent," he said.
Jake Paul's History
Paul - who first rose to fame on the television network - has mostly fought mixed martial artists or past-their-prime fighters since becoming pro.
He was defeated by British fighter Tommy Fury in 2023.
Financial Success
However, the novice continues to be one of boxing's biggest money-making draws, frequently receiving substantial financial rewards.
Prediction and Belief
The 28 year old predicted a KO victory in rounds four or five and claimed he would stop the highly-expected Fury-Joshua bout, which is apparently being planned for 2026.
"The next fight will be myself against Tyson Fury in the coming year," Paul stated.
Physical Difference
As the two fighters participated in the traditional stare-down, with their physical disparity on show, it drove home just how unlikely this whole event is - and how remarkable it is that the match is actually going ahead.
