19 of the Russian's 21 championships have been earned on hard surfaces
A revitalized Medvedev claimed his maiden title for over two years with success over Corentin Moutet in the competition title decider.
The athlete, a ex- number one, has had a torrid year, achieving just one match at the major tournaments and experiencing a setback at the American major.
His varied form on the ATP Tour - and issues with his service game in especial - caused him exiting of the world's top 10 and finally parting ways with long-time trainer Cervara.
Now collaborating with Thomas Johansson and Goetzke, Medvedev has steadily advanced in the recent weeks - climaxing in a tightly fought 7-5 4-6 6-3 victory over Frenchman Moutet.
This represents his first title since the 2023 Rome Masters and first on a hardcourt since spring of the previous year.
Victory also means he has won 21 victories at twenty-one different tournaments.
"It's the first time I have attended a tournament with my two daughters at once, so to get a trophy is really nice," stated ranked player Medvedev.
"This championship is in tribute of my child Victoria, because the initial championship I got when my older daughter my daughter was born was for her."
Medvedev, the past champion, had been defeated in his previous six title deciders, comprising in that event in the past months.
The player's retrieving strategy and frequent reactions on court had prompted some to question if his ability to play at the top level was over.
Yet the player has altered his approach in the past month, attempting to approach the net and compete aggressively, supported by an enhanced serve.
He fought back from a break down in the opening set against the difficult Moutet, winning 4 of the concluding five exchanges to go ahead.
The competitors exchanged breaks in the middle set before the Frenchman, attempting for his initial tour victory, took control to create a third set.
Moutet defended four early opportunities in a competitive final set before Medvedev won the break to 15 to close out the victory.
Appropriately, Medvedev secured the title with a point at the net, with Moutet failing to manage a shot after over two and a half hours.
